The 13th Regional
Subregional Sub-Commission on Regional Cooperation, Sub-Committees, held in
Moscow on 26-28 October, Mongolia, Russia's Intergovernmental Commission on
Trade, Economic and Scientific and Technical Cooperation ended. The meeting of
the subcommittee highlighted the first time in the last three years and noted
that the importance of maintaining the traditional traditions in the future
will be important for bilateral relations and cooperation.
The Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade of Mongolia B.Battsetseg and Deputy Minister for Economic Development A.V.Grozdev were chaired by the Mongolian Government on the sub-regional and sub-committees.
The same day, the 5th sub commission meeting on Education, Scientific and Technical cooperation was held. The meeting brought actual progress in collaboration in education, culture, science and sports field. Number of Mongolian students to study in Russian universities increased to 500. Moreover, the Russian side favorably accepted our proposal to prepare, specialize and retrain staffs, teachers, psychologists and speech therapist teachers of special needs secondary schools in Russia said D.Odgerel, Head of Science and Technology Policy Department of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports.
